The present invention provides for the inclusion of small amounts of water i n oil suspensions of active drugs, such as ceftiofur of formula (II), particularly the hydrochloride salt of ceftiofur. The resulting suspensions have improved resuspendability. Improved resuspendability results in an improved product because less shaking of the suspension is required before dosing.
