An electric pruning scissors is provided to secure high shear force with a little driving force and reduce a failure rate of a planetary reduction gear, thereby enabling a user to perform pruning with ease. An electric pruning scissors comprises the following units. A fixed blade(20) is located on a body(10) of the electric pruning scissors. An operation blade(30) is rotatably linked with the fixed blade. A power source control unit(70) selectively supplies powder to a driving motor. A first speed reducing part(50) slows down the power of the driving motor. A second speed reducing part slows down the reduced power of the first speed reducing part and transfers the power to the operation blade.
