A device for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots consists of a frame, a feed conveyer, a baffle brush, a cleaner as a cleaning unit, mounted as an inclined one, formed by driving cylindrical rollers having pairwise counter-rotating movement, above which an activator is mounted, and also of an unloading conveyer. The activator is made as five short rod turners, arranged in staggered order, on projecting shafts, perpendicular to the cleaning unit, with fixed long cylindrical elastic rods, the working ends of which form in cross-section wavу shapes and arranged at the same height as a gap above the surface of the cleaning unit, which is comprised by the cylindrical rollers arranged longitudinally in such a manner as to allow an axle of the driving shafts of rod turners to be arranged above spaces between the pairs of the cylindrical rollers of the cleaning unit. The directions of rotational movements of two middle turners are directed inside of the cleaning unit, and the rotational directions of the two lower turners directed up to the periphery of the unit. |
