PACKING METHOD OF WATERMELON

A watermelon packing method is provided to maximize the value of a watermelon due to high quality of a watermelon package by measuring the sweetness degree of the watermelon harvested with a non-destructive method and sealing the watermelon after removing a stem and wrapping the watermelon with a contractile film and putting the watermelon on the market. A watermelon packing method comprises: a process of selecting watermelon(1) of high sugar content by using a nondestructive sugar content measurement instrument and removing the stem of the selected watermelons; a process of removing moisture remaining in the exterior of the watermelon; a process of adhering a sticker(4) to the stem-eliminated portion of the watermelon; and a process of covering the stem-eliminated portion(1a) and a petal portion(1b) by wrapping the side of the watermelon with a contractile film composed of a cylindrical tube and heating up the contractile film to shrink the contractile film.
