FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to pipeline transport and can be used for sealing space between pipes and letting communication cables into a protective pipe through a sealed outlet in main pipeline adaptors, placed inside a protective cover (casing) under automobile and rail roads. The rubber seal has two cylindrical sections with different diameters, joined together through a crimp. The seal can be made in three types: without an outlet, with a blind conical and a with a blind conical-slit type outlet with wall thickness sufficient for reliable sealing of protective pipes of communication cables in outlets, which are made as a single unit with the seal for passing protective pipes of communication cables, when there is need for laying them in the pipeline adaptor. The outlet is lies between the base of the outer part of the crimp and the outer cylindrical wall of the inner diameter. The outlet in form of a blind cone is made when difference in diameter of the main pipeline and the cover (casing) is 200 mm or more. The blind conical-slit type outlet is made when this value is less than 200 mm. The seal can be made with or without a shifted centre. The rubber seal is made on a moulding tool without an outlet or with a conical or conical-slit type outlet. Description is given the method of making the seal. The rubber seal increases air-tightness of space between pipes and the protective pipe of communication cables in the adaptor. ^ EFFECT: increased air-tightness of space between pipes and the protective pipe of communication cables in the adaptor. ^ 9 cl, 9 dwg |
