A safety appliance for the needle of the intravenous catheter contains the support element allowing the needle for positioning between the opposite clamps connected with the support element. The clamps move between the positions in which they are driven apart, wherein they are interacting with the block inside the vaned casing of the device of the intravenous catheter. When the needle passes the clamps, the latter interlock near the point of the needle preventing the displacement of the needle relative to the support element. |
