A method for rearing laboratory populations of species of the Trichogramma (Hymenoptera, Trichogrammatidae) genus includes rearing the Trichogramma in the eggs of a host insect. In addition, eggs of the oaken silkworm (Antheraea pernyi G.-M.) of the domestic univoltine breed Poliskyi tassar, no elder than 10-12 hours, which are preliminary irradiated with ultraviolet rays with an exposition of 25-30 minutes, are used as the host insect of species of the genus Trichogramma. |
