FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to farm-machinery industry. The threshing method lies in combining impact, wearing out and stripping non-monotonic action on threshed crops. Threshing is done on both threshing units at the same rate and threshing gaps, imparting energy on the threshed crops at two intensity levels. The ratio between the amount of effect at the high and low levels in the first threshing unit is 1:2-1:5, and 1:2-1:4 in the second unit, while the ratio of the high level to the low level is 1.5:1-2:1. The threshing device has two drums fitted in series with rod-shaped slatted decks and a separating beater. The drums have toothed working members and plates on parts of the working members, which partially cover the height of the teeth. The ratio of the number of rows of lower teeth to the total number of rows on the first drum is 1:3-1:6, and 1:3-1:5 on the second drum. The teeth on the working members lie on the drum on helical lines in the opposite direction such that, neighbouring tracks of teeth partially overlap. ^ EFFECT: invention increases output of the double-drum threshing-separating device. ^ 2 cl; 2 dwg
