The invention relates to the field of working materials by pressure and can be used at manufacture of articles by direct pressing (extrusion). Is disclosed a method, which makes it possible to ensure uniformity of deformations on the end of the pressed billet. For this a billet is used, in which the end turned to the matrix has a form, which corresponds to the form of upper boundary of the area of plastic deformation in the stage of laminar flow of the material of pressed billet. The end of such form simultaneously by entire its surface enters into the zone of plastic deformation, as a result of which all points of end are located in identical conditions for deformation. Technical result consists in uniformity of deformation on the lower end of billet during pressing and, as a result, the uniformity of deformation throughout entire volume of molded article. |
