The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, namely to design of lance for desulfuration of cast iron by granular magnesium in large-load ladles. A lance for desulfuration of cast iron by granular magnesium in large-load ladles comprises fire resistant frame with channel. A distributor of streams on two channels is installed in the bottom end of channel, and in each of channel is installed curved pipe-bend. On end of pipe-bend is fixed replaceable nozzle with replaceable fire resistant plug, at that in distributor of streams interslot angel of two-phase stream is no more than 15° relative to longitudinal axis of lance; strippant angel of pipe-bends is 35-50° to longitudinal axis of lance; aperture in distributor of streams, pipe-bends and replaceable nozzles are made with decreasing of conditional passage moderately advancing of two-phase streams to output from lance, the total area of internal sections of pipe-bends is equal to the area of conditional passage of channel lance, replaceable nozzles and taps are made with ratio of the areas of internal sections of 0.6-0.9. The invention provides increasing of intensity of introduction of granbular magnesium in cast iron in large-load ladles, uniform barbotage of cast iron bath at high consumptions of reagent, acceleration and simplification of repair and service of lance, effective desulfuration of cast iron (more than 90 w/w) in large-load ladles. |
