PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for orienting and laminating wood chips in which the defect in the vertical direction orientation of the wood chips due to stagnation of the chips during the transportation the wood chips can be eliminated. SOLUTION: The orienting and laminating device for wood chips comprises an orienting means for orienting the wood chips, which are mixed with a binder and continuously supplied from a supply means in a uniformalized state in a width direction, in the transporting direction of a transporting means; and the transporting means for transporting the wood chips in the state oriented by the orienting means while laminating the chips. The treatment for preventing slip of wood chips is applied to the transporting means or a device for performing such a treatment is additionally provided on the transporting means.
