The method involves loading a product edge of a textile product web (2) i.e. fabric, via a guide wheel (3) with a guide force (RF1) and another product edge of the textile product web over another guide wheel (4) with another guide force (RF2) for directing distortions of the textile product web. The guide wheels are symmetrically moved to running direction (LR) of the textile product web by the guide forces produced by drive arrangements (5, 6), where the drive arrangements are synchronously driven by each other. An independent claim is also included for a needle guide arrangement comprising a guide wheel.
