<p>Disclosed is an organic silicon compound which can prevent the reduction in the scorch time of an unvulcanized rubber composition containing an inorganic filler, can prevent the occurrence of premature curing of the unvulcanized rubber composition during processing, and can increase the dispersibility of the inorganic filler in a rubber component to improve the low heat generation property of the rubber composition. The organic silicon compound is represented by the general formula (I). Also disclosed is a rubber composition containing the organic silicon compound. (R1O)3-p(R2)pSi-R3-Y (I) wherein R1 represents a linear or branched alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, aryl or aralkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or a linear or branched alkyl monoether or alkyl polyether group having 2 to 30 carbon atoms; R2 represents a linear or branched alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, aryl or aralkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, a linear or branched alkyl monoether or alkyl polyether group having 2 to 30 carbon atoms, a group -OR4, or a group -O-SiR5 3; R3 represents an alkylene, cycloalkylene, cycloalkylalkylene, alkenylene, arylene or aralkylene group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; Y represents a group produced by removing one hydrogen atom from a 1,3-dipole; and p represents a numeral number of 0, 1 or 2.</p> |
