<p>A power transmission belt (V) and a method of assembling the belt are disclosed, in which elements and rings are easily assembled up to a final stage of the assembly to improve easiness of the assembly. A large number of elements (1) each having a recess (7) for receiving two rows of endless annular rings (8a, 8b) are annularly arranged with the recesses (7) positioned on the outer peripheral side of the annular shape. Adjacent elements (1) are connected so that they are relatively rotatable within a plane of the opposed surface of each element (1). The ring (8) is embedded in and engaged with the recesses (7) in the row of the elements (1) that are annularly arranged and interconnected. The elements (1) are composed of multiple kinds of elements (1a, 1b) having the recesses (7) with different shapes.</p> |
