THE MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR CALDIAMIDE SODIUM

A method for manufacturing caldiamide sodium used as an MRI contrast agent industrially is provided to manufacture caldiamide sodium with high purity without problems due to remain solvents by using a freeze-drying or a spray dryer. A method for manufacturing caldiamide sodium comprises the following steps of: dissolving diethylenediamine pentacetic acid bis methylamide(DTPA-BMA) in distilled water; reacting liquid after adding calcium hydroxide, calcium acetate, and methoxy calcium; reacting a reaction solution after adding sodium hydroxide, methoxy natrium, or natrium hydrid; filtering the reaction solution with a membrane filter; and crystallizing the filtered reaction solution.
