<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress shock upon the engagement of a hydraulic clutch, even in such a case that a filling pressure instruction should be set higher than an initial pressure instruction when a hydraulic instruction is given to the hydraulic clutch. <P>SOLUTION: When reaching a period Sb before a filling completing period Sq of the hydraulic clutch, the hydraulic instruction P is gradually lowered since the point of time, and made to be the initial pressure instruction Pi or a filling pressure terminal instruction Pa neat the initial pressure instruction Pi at the filling completing period Sa. Concretely, a piston stroke S becomes a filling pressure decompressing instruction starting threshold value Sb, the hydraulic instruction P is gradually lowered since the point of time.
