<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a physician who is requested by a subject to conduct a medical re-examination to surely conduct the retest and easily. <P>SOLUTION: This medical network system 5 is constituted of a test request accepting server 8, a terminal unit 10 in the department of medical examination and treatment, an image server 11, a report server 12, a terminal unit 13 for preparing a report, and a LAN 14. The terminal unit 13 for preparing a report displays medical images read from an image DB 16, determines whether the results of test are certain or uncertain by reading shadows in the medical images, and transmits a notice of retest for applying a temporary reservation, specifying the conditions for the retest to the test request accepting server 8, if the results of test are uncertain.
