PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire improving comfortableness, while securing wet performance at a high speed. SOLUTION: The present invention has: a belt layer of at least two layers (an inside belt layer 9 and an outside belt layer 11) provided with belt cords mutually crossing in 45-90 degrees with a tire equatorial line CL embedded therein; and a spiral belt layer adjacent to the belt layer and provided with a peripheral directional cord wound in a spiral shape in 0-5 degrees to the tire equatorial line CL embedded therein, and is characterized in that the spiral belt layer 13 is separately arranged in the tread width direction by 10-60% to the tread grounding width TW with the tire equatorial line CL as a reference.
