PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for stirring with a temperature adjusting function capable of stirring an object to stir using shearing force between the inner wall of a stirring vessel, and adjusting a temperature of the object to stir while in stirring. SOLUTION: The apparatus for stirring 1000 is provided with a cooling jacket 31a, 31b as a constituent element of a cooling means on the outer wall face of the stirring vessel 30a, 30b, and an IH part 32a, 32b as a heating means on its outside wall. The outer shell of the stirring vessel 30a, 30b made of stainless steel is induction-heated with a magnetic field formed by the IH part 32a, 32b. Heat generated thereby is transmitted to a liquid 50, which is the object to stir, from the outer shell of the stirring vessel 30a, 30b. The cooling means is constituted by the cooling jacket 31a, 31b and cooling water 60 so that the cooling water 60 as a cooling medium flows through the cooling jacket 31a, 31b and the stirring vessel 30a, 30b.
