The electrode i.e. laminar pad, has a good conducting, flexible conducting layer (1), comprising a fabric with woven metallic threads or a good conducting plastic sheet. The pad is designed in such a manner that the pad dispenses stored fluid under pressure. A fluid storage layer (2) i.e. microfiber fabric, is made of an absorbent and groutable material, where the storage layer is connected with the conducting layer in a fixed manner. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an article of clothing for performing electrical muscle stimulation (2) an electrical muscle stimulation-module comprising a liquid tank liquid.
