<p>A communication system in which a transmission delay and communication load in a network can be alleviated and a relay device included in the communication system are provided. A trunk line network for relaying the data transmission/reception between ECUs (1)(1, ) which are communication devices for transmitting/receiving the data between GW devices (3a, 3b) which are a plurality of relay devices connected by a communication line (5) which is a trunk line and a distributor (4) which is a specific GW device is constructed. A storage area used as a database (DB) is provided in the distributor (4) which is the specific GW device and the GW devices (3a, 3b) relay the data transmitted from the ECUs (1)(1, ) so that it is aggregated in the distributor (4). The relayed data is stored in the database (DB) once. When transmitting desired data to the ECUs (1)(1, ), the distributor (4) reads the data from the database (DB) and transmits it while properly adjusting the timing, and the GW devices (3a, 3b) relay it.</p> |
