An apparatus and a method for obtaining a stereoscopic image data including cubic information toward the shape of a subject are provided to express stereo-scopic image data without error for acquiring stereo-scopic image data. A camera(100) obtains RGB data about a plurality of pixels corresponding to the first area. The depth information of the parts included in the second part is obtained about the second part. An image compensation part(120, 130) produces two dimensional video data about a whole region by using second image data about a first region. A depth information compensation(130) produces the depth information about the whole-area by using the depth information about the first region.
