<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run improved in appearance quality, and easily and stably installable in an installation part while restraining an increase in manufacturing manhours, and also to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: This glass run 5 has: a cross-sectional substantial U-shaped body part 11 installed in the installation part 4 arranged along the inner periphery of a door frame and composed of a base part 14, a vehicle outside sidewall part 15 and a vehicle inside sidewall part 16 extending from the base part 14; and a pair of seal lips 12 and 13 extending inside the body part 11 from the substantial tip of the respective sidewall parts 15 and 16, and the whole area in the longitudinal direction is formed by extrusion molding. The extension length of the respective sidewall parts 15 and 16 in a corner part 31 corresponding to a corner part of the installation part 4, is formed shorter than the extension length of the respective sidewall parts 15 and 16 in a general part other than that part, and thereby, the length in the outer peripheral direction of a glass opening part of the body part 11 is constituted short in the corner part 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
