TONER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner with which an image of high picture quality can be obtained while suppressing development stripes in a high temperature and high humidity environment and suppressing filming on a developing member at a low temperature and low humidity environment.

SOLUTION: The toner is used for an image forming method comprising bringing the toner on a toner carrier into contact with the surface of an electrostatic latent image carrier and developing an electrostatic latent image on the surface of the electrostatic latent image carrier with the toner carried by the toner carrier, and is characterized in that: the toner carrier has an elastic layer and a surface layer around a core body; the surface layer has a specified component and physical properties; and the toner comprises toner particles and inorganic fine powder and has specified physical properties with a number average particle diameter D1 of 3.0 to 8.0 μm.
