<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control using navigation capable of securing safety even when abnormality occurs in a navigation device in a vehicle 2 that performs vehicle control using the navigation device 10. <P>SOLUTION: The navigation device includes a simple locator 106 for buckup in addition to a normal locator 104. Information is continued to be provided to a control device 22 by the simple locator 106 when a failure occurs in the locator 104. Meanwhile, the locator 104 is performed reboot, and its notification is made to the control device 22, then switching such as a navigation non-use control etc. is performed if necessary. As a result, road information can be provided continuously to the control device even if a failure occurs in the navigation device.
