PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater unit having sufficient strength and good texture, which is specifically suitable for a vehicular seat heater. SOLUTION: The heater unit 31 includes a base 11 and a cord-like heater 1 arranged on the base in a specified pattern, in which specified positions on the base 11 have high density. Mounting brackets 51 or mounting holes are provided and formed in the base 11 for mounting the heater unit 31 to another member. The base 11 has high density only in parts near the mounting brackets 51 or the mounting holes. The high density is achieved by compressing the base 11 by heating and pressing.
