PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper label which never impairs the appearance of the paper label surface even if an adhesive applied to the paper label is protruded, and the exposed adhesive is adhered to the paper label surface, or adhered to an adhesive attached to a corrugated board. SOLUTION: The paper label to be stuck to a container includes a print layer, a transparent overcoat layer and a transparent top coat layer which are successively formed on a paper substrate, the top coat layer being formed to be releasable from the overcoat layer.
