PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently form a base upon application of metal plating to the surface of a molded body made of a synthetic resin. SOLUTION: A method for forming a conductive film includes: a charge removal blow stage 1 where an air blow is applied to a molded body made of a synthetic resin so as to remove the stain of its surface; a first evacuation stage 2 where the molded body made of a synthetic resin subjected to the charge removal blow is charged into a prescribed treatment tank, and the inside of the treatment tank is decompressed to the pressure of 1 to 100 Pa; a gas introduction stage 3 where the inside of the treatment tank is dried, and further, a gas such as oxygen is introduced into the treatment tank; a plasma treatment stage 4 where high frequency voltage is applied to the inside of the treatment tank into which the gas is introduced so as to generate plasma; a second evacuation stage 5 where, after the plasma treatment, the inside of the treatment tank is held to a prescribed vacuum pressure state; and a conductive film formation stage 6 where a metallic film is formed on the surface of the molded body made of a synthetic resin held in a vacuum pressure state.
