A method and a device for manufacturing protective film are provided, in which the optimization of the productivity can be obtained by minimization of the loss. A method for manufacturing protective film comprises: a step for preparing the synthetic resin film(10); a step for preparing the adhesive coating agent(20); a step for applying the adhesive coating agent on the rear side of the synthetic resin film; a step for drying the synthetic resin film coated with adhesive coating agent; a step for preparing the roll type synthetic resin film(30) by rewinding the synthetic resin film; a step for aging the roll type synthetic resin film; and a step for cutting the roll type synthetic resin film in the necessary size.
