<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melanin formation inhibitor using a material of a natural product, and to provide a cosmetic for bleaching, having stronger bleaching effects (effects for enhancing bleaching effects) by formulating the melanin formation inhibitor with a cosmetic for the bleaching. <P>SOLUTION: The melanin formation inhibitor contains an extract of pericarp of Citrus depressa Hayata as an active ingredient. Preferably, the extract of the pericarp of the Citrus depressa Hayata is the one obtained by extracting the pericarp with 50-70 w/w% aqueous solution of 1,3-butylene glycol in the melanin formation inhibitor. The cosmetic for the bleaching contains at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a magnesium ascorbic acid phosphate, arbutin and kojic acid, and the melanin formation inhibitor described in the Claims 1 or 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
