<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical anisotropic film having a pigment orientation film with the excellent bending resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The pigment orientation film with the excellent bending resistance is formed by preparing an isotropic solution including a dichroic pigment having the liquid crystal forming ability, spreading the isotropic solution on a flexible supporting member while applying a shear force, drying the spread isotropic solution by directing air of 15-60°C with a wind velocity of 0.05 m/sec or higher from a position away from the position with the shear force applied by 10 mm in the isotropic solution spreading direction and 10 mm in the height direction from the surface of the flexible supporting member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
