<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a carbonaceous-material-containing briquette, which can secure a strength of the briquette without excessively decreasing the capacity for manufacturing the briquettes, even when having used an oil-containing dust in ironworks. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method has a mixing step of preparing a powdery mixture by adding a carbonaceous material, a liquid binder, and an iron-oxide-containing raw material including no oil and/or a CaO-containing raw material as needed, into the oil-containing dust in ironworks, and mixing them; and a molding step of compression-molding the powdery mixture to form the briquette. The manufacturing method also includes controlling the content of the oil in the powdery mixture so as to satisfy the required rate of manufacturing the briquette in the molding step, by decreasing the content of the oil in the powdery mixture when increasing a rate of manufacturing the briquette, and increasing the content of the oil in the powdery mixture when decreasing a rate of manufacturing the briquette. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
