PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of securing safety of lamp replacement operation, and improving mounting operability. SOLUTION: The luminaire 1 includes a pair of sockets 7, which are arranged inside a lamp housing 2 for housing a straight tube lamp 50, are respectively connected to terminal parts 52 on both ends in a longitudinal direction of the straight tube lamp 50 to hold the straight tube lamp 50. At least one socket 7 is movable between a holding position for holding the straight tube lamp 50, and a non-holding position for releasing a held state of the straight tube lamp 50. The luminaire 1 is provided with a guide 9 formed between the pair of the sockets 7. The guide 9 is formed to temporarily hold the straight tube lamp 50 in a positioned state in a mounting position where the straight tube lamp 50 is held by the pair of the sockets 7 when the sockets 7 are in the non-holding positions.
