PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert molded article excellent in productivity and in which an insert member of metal and a resin member is firmly bonded and a manufacturing method of the insert molded article. SOLUTION: In the insert molded article 1 constituted by forming the resin layer 3 on the face 2a to be adhered of the insert member 2 of metal via the adhesive layer 4, the adhesive layer 4 includes the first adhesive layer 4a arranged in the insert member 2 side and the second adhesive layer 4b arranged in the resin layer 3 side, the first adhesive layer 4a comprises a resin containing an epoxy resin, and the second adhesive layer 4b containing at least one kind of resin selected from a polyester base resin, a polyurethane base resin, and a vinyl base resin.
