VACUUM MOLDING MACHINE FOR INTERIOR PRODUCT AND VACUUM MOLDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum molding machine for interior products which eliminates the need of a nonadhesion pretreatment of not-to-be-adhered areas of a substrate or areas of mold surfaces to be formed directly with a foamed layer in adhering a foamed layer applied with a heat-melting adhesion for the skin material to a substrate. SOLUTION: The vacuum molding machine for interior products has a projecting vacuum suction mold for the substrate to be charged with a substrate having inlet tracts and a recessed vacuum suction mold 17 for the skin material having a mold surface 17b corresponding to the shape of the whole skin surface, and is so configured that a flat skin material having a thermoplastic foamed layer joined with the skin and applied with a heat-melting adhesive is subjected to mold clamping with the substrate in a heated state to be vacuum-sucked from both the molds in order to adhere the foamed layer to the substrate and thereby form the skin material 10. The mold surface 17b of the recessed vacuum suction mold 17 for the skin material facing nonadhesion areas of the substrate where there formed is substantially no inlet tracts to be formed in a dispersed state as a retreated surface 17a retreated from the nonadhesion areas of the substrate during clamping by the thickness of the skin material or more.
