PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automotive component comprising a polycarbonate resin that uses biomass resources excellent in heat resistance, mechanical characteristic and environmental resistance as raw material. SOLUTION: The automotive component is obtained when a polycarbonate resin (component A), composed of carbonate structural units represented by formula (1) and whose melt viscosity as measured with a capillary rheometer at 250°C is in the range of 0.2×10<SP>3</SP>to 4.0×10<SP>3</SP>Pa s under the condition of a shear rate of 600 sec<SP>-1</SP>, is injection molded at cylinder temperatures ranging from 220 to 270°C.
