PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map display device capable of easily comprehending whether or not next map includes a present location, a specific facility or the like when the next map is displayed by pointing an arbitrary point in a current display map. SOLUTION: When a user touches an arbitrary portion with a finger or the like while a map is displayed on a touch-screen monitor 25 so as to display a map around the touched point, the outer edge line of the map to be displayed as the map around the touched point is shown on the screen. Thus, the next map containing at least the present location or a specific facility can be surely displayed.
