PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device for housing a circuit board capable of exchanging the circuit board without using a power from the rear side. SOLUTION: The device for housing the circuit boards has a back plane connector-inserting a plurality of the circuit boards. The device for housing the circuit boards has a rotation-transfer belt means being fitted around a case for the device for housing the circuit boards while being opposed to the back plane and having a plurality of rotation-transfer belts successively interlocked by the rotating operation of a detachable handle. The device further has at least three rotary-linear conversion means connected to specified rotation-transfer shafts for the rotation-transfer belts respectively and converting the rotary motion of the rotation-transfer shafts into a linear motion mounting and demounting the back plane from the case.
