PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a monitoring terminal quickly monitor states of each of the many monitored terminals while securing execution of appropriate authentication processing in the monitored terminal. SOLUTION: In the monitoring control system equipped with the monitoring terminal and a plurality of the monitored terminals, a plurality of the monitored terminals are classified into a plurality of the systems, the monitoring terminal chooses a unit by the unit in a sequential order among a plurality of the monitored terminals, transmits a data request signal, and the chosen monitored terminal transmits a reply signal showing the authentication result to the monitoring terminal. Moreover, by sequentially switching a sequence of the polling signal from the monitoring terminal to the monitored terminal, belonging to the different system, in A1→B1→C1→A2-, and a non-communication section of each of the systems is secured.
