PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device capable of improving the detection performance and angle measurement precision of a target regardless of a compact antenna. SOLUTION: The radar device comprises: an antenna 3 having a fixed opening; a reception means 4<SB>1</SB>for receiving reflection waves of pulse signals transmitted from the antenna at a prescribed time interval and generating reception data for each reception position determined based on own relative speed to the target and the prescribed time interval; and an SAR detection/angle measurement processing section 53 for performing the Fourier transform of reception data from the reception means for each range cell, detecting a target from the peak value of a signal obtained by the Fourier transform, and measuring the angle of a target direction based on a Doppler frequency and a reception position to the peak value.
