PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cooking stove including a display device for displaying operation information and the like, using a gas burner exerting no thermal bad influence even when thermal bad influence is exerted on the display device by transfer heat from a plurality of gas burners. SOLUTION: This gas cooking stove includes: a top plate 10 for a cooking stove having right and left burner openings 51, 52; right and left gas burners 31, 32 disposed in a body case 1 to locate facing the respective burner openings 51, 52, respectively; a display part 16 rather closer to the front end of the top plate between the burner openings 51, 52; the display device 13 in the body case observed from above the top plate 1 through the display part 16; and right and left temperature sensors S1, S2, disposed in positions corresponding to the right and left ends of the display device 13, respectively, wherein when the detected temperatures of the right and left temperature sensors S1, S2 are elevated to a threshold temperature set under the heat resistance temperature of the display device 16, the gas burner corresponding to the temperature sensor detecting the threshold temperature is extinguished.
