PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive system shock absorber for a vehicle, capable of miniaturizing the shock absorber by simplifying a structure, and improving a machining property. SOLUTION: A driving gear 94 is supported by a driving shaft 91 so as to relatively rotate, and a driven gear 106 is supported irrotationally by a driven shaft 100 so as not to rotate. The drive system shock absorber for the vehicle comprises a first dog 111 protrusively provided toward the driving gear 94 and having an engaged projecting portion 111b supported on an axis of the driving shaft 91, a second dog 112 provided on the driving gear 94 and having an engaged recessed portion 112b storing the engaged projecting portion 111b, an oil chamber 116 formed between the engaged projecting portion 111b and the engaged recessed portion 112b, and an oiling passage 112c provided in the engaged recessed portion 112b to control oil supply and interception by the engaged projecting portion 111b.
