PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll type fluid machine having improved wear resistance and seizure resistance of bearing parts, enhanced reliability, and improved energy efficiency using an optimum thrust bearing member. SOLUTION: A scroll compressor 100 is constituted by applying carbon bimetal wherein a sintered layer having a journal bearing part 94 and a main bearing part 72 on a surface of a steel plate is impregnated with a resin including carbon, and surface modifying treatment is applied to a driving bush (first bush) 95 and a bush (second bush) 73.
