PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine capable of simplifying connection structures of an oil cooler, an EGR cooler, and a valve cooling channel of an EGR valve. SOLUTION: This engine is provided with the oil cooler 49, the EGR cooler 6, and the EGR valve case 7. The valve cooling channel 31 is formed in an EGR valve case 7. A water jacket of the oil cooler 49, a water jacket of the EGR cooler 6, and the valve cooling channel 31 are connected in series. When the water jacket of the EGR cooler 6 and the valve cooling channel 31 are connected in series by a cooling water relay pipe 32, it is desirable to adjacently arrange the EGR cooler 6 and the EGR valve case 7. It is desirable to make cooling water pass through in an order of the water jacket of the oil cooler 49, the water jacket of the EGR cooler 6, and the valve cooling channel 31.
