PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filament winder capable of simultaneously producing a plurality of packages with respect to a winding shaft held sandwichedly by a single cradle and capable of easily switching the number of packages formed with respect to the winding bobbin. SOLUTION: The filament winder includes a single cradle 20 sandwichingly holding a winding shaft 19 rotatably and a traversing arrangement 21 for traversing filaments Ya and Yb fed from filament feed packages 11a and 11b respectively and wound on the winding shaft 19, wherein the traversing arrangement 21 includes a belt 26 reciprocatingly traveling by a driving motor 25 and two traverse guides 27a and 27b provided at the belt 26 and guiding the filaments Ya and Yb.
