PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element, which has high luminescent efficacy and high driving stability, by using a polymer compound suitable for a wet film-forming method, the polymer compound being capable of being dissolved under mild conditions; and excellent in positive hole transporting ability, thermal and electrochemical stability, and storage stability. SOLUTION: The polymer compound comprises a repeating unit represented by following formula (II). Formula (II) is -[-N(Ar1)-A1-N(-A2-G1-Z)-Q-]-, wherein Z is a cationic polymerizing group. G1 is a divalent group formed by connecting 1-30 groups selected from an -O- group, -S- group, -C(=O)- group, -S(=O)2- group, -SiH2- group or -CH2- group, or is a direct bond. Ar1 is an aromatic hydrocarbon group which may have a substituent group or an aromatic heterocyclic group which may have a substituent group. A1 and A2 are divalent groups represented by -Ar2-(-G2-Ar3-)n-, wherein G2 has the same meaning as G1, and Ar2 and Ar3 are aromatic hydrocarbon groups which may have a substituent group.
