PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce defects in an image contour stored in the original print data and to improve preserving property of image concentration stored in the original print data. SOLUTION: By providing a means for switching application of a correction processing for a region where failure dependent on an output device within the same page occurs and a region where failure does not occur, for the case where failure does not occur, the correction processing is not performed.
