PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prop for laver-culturing which can easily be processed and can be produced at a reasonable cost. SOLUTION: This prop for laver-culturing is characterized by covering the surface of a prop 3 placed between a sea bottom 1 and a sea surface 2 at the time of an ebb tide with a thermally shrinkable rubber tube 4. Thereby, barnacles hardly adhere to the prop, or even when the barnacles adhere to the prop, the thermally shrinkable rubber tube can easily be removed and replaced by a thermally shrinkable rubber tube. The prop can simply be renewed and is more inexpensive than a copper plate or the like. The exposure of glass fibers due to deterioration with the passage of time, the sticking of a hand with the glass fibers at the time of prop removal, or the adhesion of scattered glass fibers to a wear can be prevented by covering a grip portion G with the thermally shrinkable rubber tube 4.
