The present invention relates to a method for the production of a synchronizer ring (1), particularly a synchronizer ring for a synchronizing device of a manual transmission, comprising a ring body (3) extending about an axis of symmetry (2), the body having an inner friction surface (4) and/or an outer friction surface (5) for the frictionally engaged contact with a friction partner, wherein the method comprises at least the following steps: - Providing a starting work piece for machining by metal working; - reshaping the starting work piece in order to form at least the basic structure of the ring body (3); - rerolling the ring body (3) by means of a rolling method, wherein the rerolling comprises at least a rolling treatment of the inner (4) and/or outer (5) friction surfaces. |
