The invention relates to an arrangement and a method for connecting components (1, 4, 8) by screwing and welding, comprising a screw element (1) with a screw thread (2) that can be welded to the component (1) in the region of a passage opening (3), located in a component (4) to be connected to the screw element (1). Said arrangement further comprises a seal (5) for sealing the passage opening (3), wherein the seal (5) is disposed between the screw element (1) and the component (4) when in the assembled state. The invention proposes that the seal (5) be made of a highly temperature-resistant plastic that can be melted by the effect of the welding energy, for example, a polyarylene sulfide or polyarylene ether ketone. |
